Found on the altar steps with a massive crude bastard sword, Eicus had nearly bled out during the night. As the morning rose he was taken inside the temple of Nusemnee and healed back to health. The night before he was set to leave he was greeted by Kamris, archangel of Nusemnee, in a dream space. During the dream he was told to go to every corner of the world spreading the word of Nusemnee. Kamris then took the bastard sword in her hands and transformed it with an explosion of light into a beautiful longsword with snakes intertwining as the handle and guard with her own personal symbol on the hilt. She decreed that Eicus take this blade and spread the message of second chances as he and this weapon are getting now. He awoke filled with purpose and confusion but when he set his sights upon the sword it had indeed transformed like in his dream.
Filled with the light of the goddess Eicus and all other followers feel a distinct connection to her when they come in contact with the blade. It was almost kept as a sacred relic but the temple’s high priest declared that it could not rest here dormant when it had been blessed with such a noble and distinct purpose.
